GABFAC

"Fish don't fry in the kitchen, Beans don't burn on the grill, took a whole lotta tryin, just to get up that hill..." is what comes to mind when I think of this move. (That's The Jeffersons theme song for those who don't know LOL!) In Febuary of 2011 Dr. Levi R. King, Sr. and the Gateway Area Bible Fellowship Church (GABFAC) moved from 8625 State Street in East St. Louis, IL where they resided for almost 29 years, to 85 Water Street in Cahokia, IL. "We didn't have the expertise or energy any more for State Street" according to one of their members. GABFAC sold 8625 State Street to Pastor Rodney Douglas and the Greater New Covenant COGIC formerly of Collinsville, IL who has men with construction expertise and the energy for the building. They have now made what was an eye sore and pain for GABFAC a BEAUTIFUL gem for themselves. GABFAC now has a beautiful gem of their own. Play the video to see a tour of GABFAC.
